Artist of Architecture is a Richmond-based architecture and interior design studio, a building company specialising in bespoke residential architecture and building design, home extensions, loft conversions, renovations and contemporary new-build homes across London.
Providing professional architectural design, building design, planning applications, technical drawings and construction support tailored to each client’s vision, lifestyle and budget. From concept design through to planning and build stages, creating thoughtful spaces that combine functionality, sustainability and timeless design.
Serving Richmond, Twickenham, Kingston upon Thames and Greater London, our practice offers professional guidance for homeowners seeking quality building design, residential architecture and interior design solutions. Services are available both in person and remotely.
Artist of Architecture is intentionally small author-driven practice because the value comes from a clear design voice, direct client collaboration, and flexibility which can’t be found with bigger studios.
It’s me, Vladis, the director of Artist of Architecture, who will be leading and working on your project from start to finish. From the initial consultation and building design through planning permission, building regulations and construction, you'll work directly with me at every stage. Having a single point of contact keeps communication clear, decisions straightforward, and the entire process simple.

If you had a chance to look through architectural websites and their portfolios, they often share similar stylistic expression. Things can be done in many ways, and I can help you to express yourself. I am able to design the whole project all by myself (of course only if you wish so) but, by hiring me, you can bring in your ideas and I will help you to translate it into professional documents for your builder to build and I can assist you with obtaining permissions.
